Jobless, Homeless, Mom and 1 of 2 children disabled car needs extensive repairs

I am a single, disabled mother of 2 children, one of which is also disabled. I have bipolar disorder, major depression, stress/anxiety disorder, as well as post traumatic stress/depression disorder. My child is 15 years old and she has ADHD, a very severe developmental delay, as well as a significant learning disability. Just today I had to go to court and the man who owns the lot where my trailer is parked won and they gave me only TEN days to move my trailer which I can not do, we are penniless literally.

I was buying a mobile home but I rent the lot that it is on and quite frankly from my trying to “rob Peter to pay Paul” I have unfortunately gotten very behind on the lot rent and so now I have to go. I called the local shelters and they are all full and I guess now we have to sleep in our car. It too, believe it or not, was stolen a few months ago and left wrecked with extensive damage and I have had it parked as I did not have the money to fix it. We are living and have been living on 634.00 a month. The most sad thing is that my trailer would have been paid off in another year and a half. Now I am with nothing and can not find help anywhere. Believe me I have looked everywhere and I am so down and depressed now. I just can not believe that a single, disabled woman, without any support or help from the father and having 2 children, one with disabilities or special needs and no one or no agency would helpl. I looked HARD I AM TELLING YOU and nothing!!!!! We live in the United States and I am ashamed. It is really a shame when strangers on sites like this one will reach out and help others and our own government won't even try to help.

The amount that we are behind is 1,200.00 and I know that is a lot, believe me, it may as well be a million dollars for us as our income consists of only a small, fixed, and extremely tight 634.00 that is the SSI that my daughter receives. We do get Medicaid and food stamps thank God and so we are okay as far as food, and medicines. I have applied twice for disability and have been denied twice so I am now looking for an attorney to help me. I could move the trailer if I had land to move it to or the funds to move it but I don’t. The really sad thing about this ordeal is that I was so very proud and happy that next year in October, my mobile home will be completely paid for and for once in our lives; a moment of peace and tranquility for once was in sight, until this. I am truthfully without a dollar to my name at this time and I was just PRAYING TO GOD someone could help us. Please if you can help contact me but you have to hurry I will have no way to see any email after 10 days. I am scared beyond no belief as my girls and I have absolutely no place to go, no where to turn, and no one to turn to for help. I am begging you to PLEASE help us. We are totally and completely alone without anyone to help us and I really feel bad and my depression and all my other disabilities have become just totally almost unbearable lately. I had to go back to mental health today because I got so down and out that I was totally suicidal.

I know our needs are great but without some help, we are going to drown. My girls and I go through extremely too much with the ordeal of our mental issues and health problems that all this is really depressing us and getting us so down. My girls do not know nor do they realize all that we are really facing as I don’t have the guts to even tell them, and am terrified not to tell them. I can not bear the thoughts that my girls suffer anymore as my children already suffer so much. They are great girls and they do without a whole lot of things, some very necessary or needed, actually too much but at the same time, my girls are great as I said and they know that if nothing else, they have me and that I love them dearly and please take my word I do love them, more than my own life. I do not want them to have to worry about this but nor do I want to spring it on them in the case I can not find the help we need so badly. I feel so much like I have failed them.

I need help and without it we are going to be bullied or shoved into the cold, cruel, uncaring world on our hinnies. Please will you help, we have no one and no where to turn. I trust in God that I have finally come to the right place as I feel and felt in my heart as I entered your site. Thank you so much and God bless you for what you are and what you do.
