I currently live in St Charles, Missouri and have no job - my job ended in early December 2009. I am willing and anxious to move anywhere in the midwest. My most recent work was as a Human Resource Manager, and have many years of experience in that field. My education is in Psychology and Criminal Justice - I have degrees in both. Most of my has been in corporate world- those that you do just for the $$ at the end of each pay period but never feel you do any good in the world. As a person of very strong faith, and someone who has experienced a lot of pain and emotion in my life, I truly hope to find work in an area and field where I can help others. I need an income - but I have a strong compassion for others. I know what it's like to be hungry - not because you don't want to cook but because there's no food. I know what it's like to survive rape, domestic violence, raising a child as a single mother, and the danger of crime-ridden streets and death everywhere. I have a compassion for people and work well with individuals who some in society find "unlovable". I have attached my resume and ask anyone who knows of work in such a field might call or email me. In addition, I have worked with battered women's shelters as volunteer, taught in community colleges and GED classes, and other fields where I know would give a strong background and help me be a strong asset to a good organization.
Thank you.
