My job ended 12/4/09-not one cent of income for a month, food is running out, no gas in car, prescriptions ran out Monday - for first time in my life I asked for help at Social Services and was told that "eventually" when I get unemployment, I will be earning $10 too much for help. 50 years old, no family, alone. Have never had help in life, just need to survive until I find a job and get on my feet. Any help would be beneficial - food, gas to go to interviews, etc., help of any kind would be better than this. |
